Longhorn Council TA15; Council Shoulder Patches identify the Council the Scout and Troop are Members or identify a Council Activity

OA Kanik CSP contingent patch for Woapalanne Chapters annual Philmont trip in the winter or summer. In addition, this 7 color CSP (2” by 5”) “ghosts” the “Kanik” and “BSA” in the red of the flag of the State of Texas. During January 1996, OA members flew into Amarillo Airport, drove rented cars to Philmont and participated in the “Kanik” program. Woapalanne Chapter supported Scouts who were interested in attending a Philmont Trek, Kanik or Cavalcade program from 1990 through 1997 through fund rai sers that helped cut the cost. Since many Troops did not have the organization to offer a Philmont program, Woapalanne provided one for
14 Troops in 4 Districts and 2 Councils.
