Longhorn Council SA30; Every council has shoulder patches that individually identifies their council.  Council shoulder patches came into existence in 1972.

Pope John Paul II announced the 2000 Jubilee that featured special events within the Catholic Church and his activities within the Papacy. In celebration of this announcement, and to
commemorate the Diocese of Ft Worth 40th Anniversary Boy Scout Retreat and the 45thAnniversary of the Cub Scout Parvuli Dei Award, this special CSP patch is issued.
The central portion of the patch features the Year 2000 Jubilee logo with the words “Christ Yesterday, Today and Forever” and “2000” appearing below it.This 8 multi-colored purple
mylar border was for participants who attended the 2000 Catholic Scouting Awards Sunday. The word “Awards” and 1961 is ghosted on the left side along with the Cub Scout logo to celebrate
the 45th Anniversary of the Parvuli Dei Award.
