Lodge 489A Nishkin Halupa A Pe Lachi R-2 50th OA Anniversary; During 1988, Woapalanne Chapter (Longhorn Council) organized the first of their Philmont Treks to Philmont Scout Ranch. To commemorate this adventure, they issued a 50th Anniversary gold border patch. This 6 color 3 inch by 3 inch patch highlights The Pioneer with gun in hand peering into the distance at the country before him. This OA Philmont Trek Contingent patch was a small production order so is very limited in availability. Four Troops from 3 different Districts participated in this OA sponsored Trek.
